BUST or CHEST measurement is the circumference measurement taken from just below the armpits from seam to seam. The measuement is taken with the dress flat on a table. There is actually another two to three inches of allowance provided by the front chest darts. WAIST is the circumference measurement across dress, seam to seam, level with the sarong tie. HIP measurement is the most generous measurement between the waist measurement and the bottom of the hem, approximately 7 ½ to 8 inches above the dress bottom.. LENGTH measurement from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the hem. |
